Mental wellness sessions are approached through a trauma-informed, lens. A variety of therapeutic modalities are utilized in order to achieve successful therapeutic outcomes.
Mental wellness sessions are offered by appointment. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
The type of insurance you carry should never present a barrier to receiving services.
As such, Medicaid (including Iowa Total Care, Molina, Wellpoint (formerly Amerigroup), and Medicare are also accepted.

In partnership with Des Moines Public Schools and the Saydel Community School District, mental wellness sessions are also provided to students at East High School (DMPS) and Cornell Elementary School (Saydel).
School based services can be accessed through the East Counseling Team or the Cornell Elementary School Social Worker.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
KAP sessions are offered through a trauma-informed, integrative lens that honors the unique healing potential of expanded states of consciousness. Sessions incorporate mindfulness and depth-oriented therapeutic approaches to support insight, emotional processing, and lasting transformation.
KAP is available by appointment only. These sessions are not typically covered by insurance; however, CareCredit and other financing options are available.

Amber recognizes the unique needs of athletes (of all ages and skill levels) and together with her team, is prepared to offer support and assistance.
