Therapeutic Groups at Ananda

At Ananda Mental Wellness and Yoga, we believe healing happens in connection—not just with a therapist, but also within supportive community spaces. Our therapeutic groups offer guided, intentional opportunities for individuals to explore emotional wellness, process life experiences, and build inner resilience—together.

Each group is uniquely designed to meet the needs of a specific community, whether you're navigating grief, competing as a student athlete, or simply seeking a space to reconnect with yourself. Led by trained mental health professionals, our groups blend psychoeducation, mindfulness, movement, and meaningful conversation in a safe, welcoming environment.

Through gentle movement, breath, and communal witnessing, this group creates space for grief to be honored, expressed, and held—without the need to explain or fix. Participants are invited to reconnect with their bodies, release stored tension, and make space for emotional renewal. Each class integrates elements of psychotherapy, yoga therapy, nervous system regulation, and somatic awareness to support the grieving process in a compassionate way.

This group may be especially helpful if you're:

  • Moving through the loss of a loved one, relationship, identity, or life chapter

  • Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from your body and emotions

  • Seeking a supportive, low-pressure space to process grief outside of talk therapy

  • Curious about integrating breath, movement, and mindfulness into your healing journey

No yoga experience is necessary. All bodies, identities, and grief stories are welcome.

Cost: $250 per person for a 4-week series (groups run monthly)
